MISSION STATEMENT
Plastic Surgeon in San Francisco Dr. Kind believes that excellence in surgery and the compassionate care of patients must go hand in hand. Dr. Kind strives to provide his patients with the best possible result.
ABOUT THE DOCTOR
Plastic Surgeon in San Francisco Dr. Kind received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, and attended Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. He was fully trained in General Surgery at Rush Presbyterian St.Luke's Medical Center, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Northwestern University - McGaw Medical Center, also in Chicago. He did a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the Davies Medical Center (now part of California-Pacific Medical Center) in San Francisco.
Plastic Surgeon in San Francisco Dr. Kind was Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and received a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand from the American Board of Surgery.
Plastic Surgeon in San Francisco Dr. Kind is a member of several local and national medical organizations, and has presented at national meetings and published scientific articles on a wide variety of Plastic Surgery topics. He has been featured in several articles in the lay press, has been interviewed for local radio and national television shows, and has appeared in two documentaries. Although Dr. Kind performs his operations either by himself or with the assistance of a fully trained plastic surgeon, he participates in the training of plastic surgical residents. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, at the University of California-San Francisco, and a Clinical Instructor, Department of Surgery (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery), at Stanford School of Medicine, Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Kind received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, at the University of California-San Francisco in 2001 for his contributions to the Resident's Cosmetic Clinic.
